In December 2008, the Society was awarded a Consultant Services Grant from the Illinois Association of Museums. This is a matching grant which allowed the Society to have a consultant give a funding sources workshop in mid-March. The Society is grateful to the Illinois Association of Museums for recognizing the work they have been doing by awarding them these funds.
