“Dolls of th 1950s” Exhibit is Great for Families

While  your family is in town for the holidays, the 1950s Park Forest House Museum is a great way for generations to share a fun look back into history.  The “Dolls of the 1950s” exhibit is waiting to greet you. The museum always has some dolls, children’s books, games and toys from the 1950s, as well as household furnishings which would have been in homes in the 1950s and beyond.

Admission is $5 for adults; children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.  The museum is at 141 Forest, at the corner of Forest and Fir.  Regular open hours are Saturday 1-3 p.m., but the museum can be open for small or large groups, scout groups and school field trips, by appointment.  Bring the family.  The museum is a family-friendly experience. For more about it, see the Park Forest Historical Society website at www.parkforesthistory.org.
