CHICAGO – (ENEWSPF)—March 30, 2015. Rep. Jan Schakowsky joined over three dozen members of Congress writing the House Appropriations Committee to request $25 million for Nonprofit Security Grant Program funding. These funds would aid those who strive to secure Synagogues, Temples and other institutions from hateful attacks. Rep. Schakowsky released the following statement on this issue:
