4th Grade Student Is District 162 Spelling Bee Champ


Matteson, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Arcadia School fourth grade student Noor Baig was the first place winner in the Matteson School District 162 Spelling Bee. Noor will progress to the regional Spelling Bee where she will represent District 162. Sean Robinson, a sixth grade student at Sauk School, was the second place winner.

Spelling Bee participants included:

Illinois School-Maya Alao, Keita Allen, Angelica Ferguson, Jeremiah Price, Nicole Vega, and Lisette Nwanesi, alternate

Indiana School-Jasmine Bovia, Indya Gettings, Tamia Miller, Nicole Brown, Jacob Washington, and Arlette Osagie, alternate.

Sauk School-Schuyler Lewis, Kristion Mason-Smith, Dejah Pate, Camryn Smith, and Christopher Bell, alternate.

Huth Middle School-Brianna Garza, Christopher Jones, J’nae Payne, Francesca Robinson, Grant Williams, and China Buckner, alternate.
