Annual Foodapalooza Fundraiser Just Fine at Prairie State College

Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- More than $1,000 and 3,000 pounds of food will benefit Respond Now as a result of the Prairie State College (PSC) Sixth Annual Foodapalooza event held earlier this month, co-hosted by Rooster Audio Visual Services.

The monetary donations doubled the amount from last year to benefit the emergency assistance agency helping residents in the south suburbs.

Additional donors to the event included US Cellular, WOW Cable, Homewood and Tinley Park Best Buy, Homewood Dairy Queen, UPS, Southtown Star, 103.5 KISSFM, Radio Dobrez Inc., PSC Student Government Association, PSC Campus Programming Board, and Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

“Every year we host this fundraiser, the support of the community and local businesses continues to exceed our expectations,” said Dr. Eric Radtke, president of PSC. “We are so pleased that, with the help of our sponsors and members of the PSC family and community, we are able to help Respond Now in their noble cause.”
