Colombia is Featured Country in Prairie State College International Committee Annual Event

Prairie State College (PSC) Professor Craig Mulling (center) recognized retiring PSC faculty members Ed Schwarz, professor of communication and department chair of Humanities and Fine and Applied Arts (left) and Marian Kelly, professor of biology (right), for “Outstanding Service to Prairie State College’s International Committee.” The awards were presented during the recent International Tea (and Coffee) event, “Colombia: Land of Enchantment,” featuring guest speaker José Luis Magán. The annual event is sponsored by committee, and features a different country each year.

José Luis Magán, registered landscape architect and principal with Accent Urban Design in Homewood, Ill., was the guest speaker for the 2018 International Tea (and Coffee) at Prairie State College. He presented, “Colombia: Land of Enchantment.”
