Community Classes At Rich East High School


Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The final in a series of free Community Classes at Rich East High School is set for 8 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, at the school, 300 Sauk Trail, Park Forest. Among the classes expected to be offered are: Computer Skills; Culinary Arts/Cooking, Word and Power Point; Wellness-Yoga; Weight Training and Line Dancing; Fitness-Boot Camp; Legacy Initiative-Cradle to careers; 2+2=Success-Algebra strategies for the visual learner; Right to Read/Reading is Power and Fine Arts. Participants may sign up for a maximum of three classes. 

The classes are open to all Park Forest residents, including Rich East students. All classes are free but registration is recommended. For more information, call (708) 679-6100, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The classes, which have been offered on selected Saturdays since December, are being offered as part of a $232,000 School Improvement Grant from the Illinois State Board of Education.
