Concerned Parents Want Help to Save Talala Elementary School

Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Crete-Monee School District 201-U Board of Education has announced that it will reduce the budget for the 2010-2011 school year.

Concerned parents, staff and community members are invited to voice their input during the public comment portion of the meeting. The district has announced the possible closure of Talala Elementary School and re-opening as a District All-Day Kindergarten Program. This will mean that all Will County Park Forest students will be bussed to various schools within the district.

Please voice your opinions at the meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 6:30 pm at Crete-Monee High School located at 1515 West Exchange St. Crete, IL
