Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- In keeping with Park Forest-Chicago Heights School District 163’s initiative to accelerate the curriculum at all grade levels, Forest Trail School has implemented a Freshman Academy to ensure that Forest Trail students are well prepared for high school. Ongoing articulation and collaboration between High School District 227 and Forest Trail and reciprocal classroom visitations by teachers from District 227 and Forest Trail are essential elements of the Academy.
