Governors State to Host Information Sessions on Occupational Therapy Programs

University Park, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Governors State University’s Occupational Therapy Department will host Information Sessions for individuals interested in learning more about the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) and Doctor of Occupational Therapy (DrOT) degree programs on Thursday, August 6, in room G127 at the University. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the program will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

The MOT degree is an intensive 97-credit hour, entry-level program that provides students with the comprehensive knowledge and skills they will need to become licensed, practicing members of the profession. The DrOT degree is an advanced practice, post-professional doctoral degree.

Both degree programs are offered through the university’s College of Health and Human Services. Faculty members and advisors will be available to meet with students who are interested in either program.
