Governors State University Basketball Players Named to Spring Athletic Directors Honor Roll

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL—(ENEWSPF)—June 24, 2015. The following student athletes at Governors State University have been named to the Athletic Directors Honor Roll with GPAs of 3.0 or better:

Governors State athletes competed in club sports during 2014-15. The university was accepted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) in April and its athletic program will begin NAIA competition with seven sports teams for the 2015-2016 season, including women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, and men’s and women’s basketball.
