University Park, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Governors State University will host Instant Decision Day: An Undergraduate Open House on Saturday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free event is open to all students looking to transfer into one of GSU’s bachelor’s degree completion programs.
Prospective students are encouraged to bring official or unofficial transcripts. Admission counselors and academic program advisors will be on hand to review transcripts and provide students with an instant decision on whether or not they could be admitted to the university.
“Instant Decision Day is not only for traditional college students,” said Dr. Sherilyn Poole, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs. “It is also open to individuals who have been out of school for awhile and want to complete their degrees and for those who are concerned about job security and wish to improve their qualifications.”
General information about the university, specific undergraduate programs, and financial aid will be available. Prospective students will be able to meet with Governors State faculty, academic advisors, and financial aid counselors.
