CHICAGO HEIGHTS–(ENEWSPF)–October 19, 2015.  The Prairie State College (PSC) STEM@PSC program, along with the PSC TRiO program, recently presented “iDiscover STEM Fun Day at Prairie State College.” More than 100 students representing area schools and STEM groups came to PSC to participate in hands-on demonstrations and fun labs. Sponsors for the event included the South Chicago Heights Jewel-Osco, Fratello’s Catering and Walt’s Food Centers.

Scientist and magician Steve Belliveau makes a presentation to the audience at Prairie State College (PSC) iDiscover STEM Fun Day event. Belliveau’s presentation included experiments with electro magnets, friction and liquid nitrogen.
