Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Prairie State College issued a press release Friday indicating that the school will hold an Industrial Technology Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 3-6 p.m.
The event will be held at the Prairie State College Atrium, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights.
According to the release, the Prairie State college (PSC) industrial technology programs offer students an opportunity to explore a broad number of career choices.
Attendees at the open house will learn about jobs involved with the operation, management, and maintenance of the complex technological systems found in almost any industry. There will be an opportunity to visit the labs on campus, speak with the professors, and see equipment demonstrations in automotive technology, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration, industrial electricity, CNC machining, manufacturing technology, and welding.
