CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–October 28, 2013. Musical Theatre Director Luis Perez comes from an overachieving family. His parents, both physicians, emigrated from Cuba to the Orlando, Fla., area in the 1950s for a better life – his father rising to become the president of the Florida Medical Association and his mother being recognized as the nation’s first female doctor from Cuba.
