Marian awards 70 Academic Letters for 4.0 GPAs

Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Marian Catholic High School awarded 70 Academic Letters to sophomores, juniors and seniors at the annual Academic Letter Breakfast on Oct. 17. The Academic Letter is awarded to a student who receives 4.0 or higher grade-point average in two consecutive semesters.

Current senior recipients included Trenton Blake, Hannah Bolden, Lindsey Clark, Sarah George, Christopher Gliotoni, Maria Grossi, Isabelle Keating, Paul Lamb, Shannon Mulholland, Megan Ringo and Ayla Skipton.

Junior class honorees were Kaley Barseth, Raven-Symone Brown, Regina Brown, Phoenix Burnett, Angelica Cazares, Amy Cowser, Christina deBustros, Michael Lauer, Janie Neal, Emerson Pavur, John Peabody, Jacqueline Poe, Matthew Udani, Kellen Williams and Carlee Wisniewski.

Members of the sophomore class included Josephine An, Kennedy Burrell, Alana Carta, Megan Chio, Kyle Elam, George Funk, Arielle Hernandez-Lyons, Myles Howard, Aliya Jankowski, Julie Javorka, Elizabeth Johnson, Mateusz Julecki, Madison Kapers, Madeleine Kelly, Kathryn Kistner, Christopher Korfiatis, Emmaline Krause, Aleksander Labovic, John LaVelle, Sarah Lisak, John Loxas, Timothy Lusk, Jr., Daniela Maciel, Alexandra Martin, Hannah Martin, Brendan Marz, Renae Melone, Isabella Navarro, Chiaobi Ndukwe, Adam Novak, Douglas Nunes, Kira Oparah, Michael O’Shea, Zak Piekarski, Margaret Polley, LaDymon Readus, Staci Roesch, Sophia Ruggeri, Jarred Rusin, Colette Scheffers, Katherine Serba, Alan Villalba, Kyle Walker and Kenzie Worsham.

Presented each fall, the six-inch "M" Letters have been awarded to more than 1,225 students since the program began in 1994.
