Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Marian Catholic High School hosted an Excellence in Academics Award Breakfast on Thursday, April 25. Medals of Academic Excellence were awarded to 61 sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The Academic Medals of Excellence are awarded to students who have earned a 4.0 or higher grade-point average throughout their time at Marian Catholic.

“We are pleased to honor students who have earned a grade point average of 4.0 or higher,” said Dr. Shirley Morris, Assistant Principal. “These students have consistently demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Marian’s rigorous academic program, which prepares them for the global environment.”
Presented each year, the Medal of Academic Excellence has been awarded to 708 students since the program began in 2004-2005 school year.
