Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The stage is set in Monsignor Croarkin Auditorium at Marian Catholic High School for the spring musical production of “Godspell.” Lively, colorful, and lyrical, the cast offers the 1970’s-era hit with some new millennium updates.

While the message and the music remain the same, “Godspell” tells the story of forming a community of people who follow Christ, played by freshman, Stephen Daw of Homewood. Through storytelling and games from the gospel according to Matthew, each follower of Christ demonstrates their individual commitment, thus forming the group of Jesus’ disciples.

Show times are Friday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m., and a Sunday matinee is offered on April 25 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets for this energetic and entertaining production of “Godspell” are $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and students, and can be reserved by calling (708) 756-9418, or purchased at the door.
