Four individual wins spark team title in ‘Santaburg’ event

Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Marian Catholic Forensics Team notched a first-place finish in the “Santaburg Oaklaus” tournament at Sandburg High School on Dec. 11. Capturing individual first-place honors were Joe Wlos (Extemporaneous Speaking), Adam King and Kiayla Jackson (Humorous Duet Acting), Blake Rivera (Humorous Interpretation), and Jaboukie Young-White (Original Oratory).

Second-place honors were garnered by Courtneigh Summerrise (Impromptu Speaking), and Conor Keane (Special Occasion Speaking), while individual third-place finishers were Zach Henry (Original Comedy), and Summer Fields (Radio Speaking).

Jaboukie Young-White added a fourth-place finish in Prose Reading, and the Dramatic Duet Acting team of Kyle Fitzgerald and Alex Gallinaro captured sixth-place.
