Pirates, Mermaids Accompany Peter Pan to GSU


University Park, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The classic adventure about a boy who won’t grow up, ‘Peter Pan,’ comes to the Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University for a single performance Thursday, July 15, at 11 a.m.

As presented by Emerald City Theatre, ‘Peter Pan’ is a rousing tale suitable for children three years of age and older. Neverland beckons as Peter and Wendy encounter pirates, mermaids, fairies, and a ticking crocodile while trying to defeat the dastardly Captain Hook.

The musical adaptation, by Alyn Cardarelli and Steve Goers, is designed to delight the imagination of young theater-goers. Peter Pan received 3 and a half stars from ChicagoTheatreblog.com.
