Prairie State College Offers Non-Credit Courses


Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Prairie State College (PSC) offers hundreds of non-credit classes for a variety of interests and learning needs. Students have the opportunity to update their job skills, discover new passions, or train for a new career. Classes are conveniently held at PSC’s Matteson Area Center, 4821 Southwick Dr., Matteson, at locations around the south suburbs, and online.

Three orientation sessions will be held at the Matteson Area Center about the non-credit medical and real estate programs. In as little as one semester, students can earn a certificate to start a new career. All new students need to attend an orientation. The orientation sessions are free, but registration is required by calling (708) 709-3750.

Learn more about programs such as health unit coordinator, medical billing/coding specialist, and medical central services technology on Wednesday, January 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Orientation for the dialysis technician and pharmacy technician programs will be held on Tuesday, January 12, from 6-7 p.m.

For those interested in real estate, an open house will be held on Thursday, January 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Learn more about real estate foreclosures, mortgage loans, financing and investing in real estate, property management, real estate transactions, real estate appraisals, home improvement, and home inspection.
