PSC Offers Variety of Non-Credit Course Offerings for Fall


Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Brush up on Microsoft Excel. Develop essential business skills. Get the training needed to become a pharmacy technician. Learn a new language. Do all of this and more by taking a Prairie State College (PSC) non-credit course.

PSC’s non-credit courses begin at various times throughout August, September, October, and November. Course length varies from one day to several weeks. Most courses are held at PSC’s Matteson Area Center, 4821 Southwick Dr., Matteson. Courses also are held at PSC’s main campus, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights. Additionally, for local business owners, PSC offers Custom Business Solutions with training available on your site or on PSC’s campus. Our staff will work with your company to design a custom training program.

“In today’s economy, job preservation and improving work skills have become top priorities for today’s workforce,” said Mike Moody, coordinator the Matteson Area Center. “PSC can assist you with your educational needs to accomplish your goals. From computer training to vocational programs, we help people improve their value in the workplace.”

In addition to vocational and computer courses, PSC also offers personal interest courses such as ballroom dancing, yoga, and home improvement.
