Oak Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—November 27, 2013. The South Suburban College Business & Career Institute (BCI), funded by the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, presents a free one-day Residential HVAC Load Calculations Workshop. This workshop, directed at the Illinois residential heating and air conditioning industry, supports the compliance of the 2012 IECC. Homebuilders, HVAC contractors, code officials and those interested in home performance are encouraged to attend.
The IRC and IECC require room by room Manual-J load calculations. The use of Manual-J, Manual-S and Manual-D are now required components of the permit and inspection process.

The free workshop will run from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 16that SSC’s Oak Forest Center, located at 16333 S. Kilbourn Ave.
