Spanish Financial Aid Workshop Offered Free at Prairie State College

CHICAGO HEIGHTS–(ENEWSPF)–December 7, 2015.  Prairie State College (PSC) is hosting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) workshop for Spanish speaking parents of high school juniors and seniors to help students and parents file the FAFSA online.

Submitting a completed and accurate FAFSA is the first and most important step in obtaining financial aid and PSC is extending its financial aid workshops to those whose first language is Spanish. The Spanish FAFSA workshop provides an opportunity for parents and students to ask questions and get a clear understanding of the financial aid and enrollment process. Academic Advisor and Hispanic Outreach Specialist Jennica Rodriguez will be presenting to attendees entirely in Spanish and answering questions. The FAFSA workshop will be held December 15, 5 to 7 p.m., in the PSC Conference Center on the college’s main campus at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights. This workshop is free and open to the public.

For more information on the Spanish FAFSA workshop at PSC, contact Jennica Rodriguez at 708-709-3510 or email [email protected].
