Student Art Exhibition on Display at South Suburban College


“Pot Luck” Artists Reception to be Held May 8th

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL–(ENEWSPF)—May 1, 2013. The South Suburban College Bi-annual Student Art Exhibition is currently on display in the fourth floor galleries at the college’s Main Campus.  Students of the Art & Design program are displaying over 300 works of art through Friday, May 10, 2013.  A “pot luck” Artist Reception will also be held on Wednesday, May 8th at 12 noon in the Dorothea Thiel Gallery.

The exhibition provides SSC students with an opportunity to showcase their outstanding works of Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Jewelry, Computer Art, Graphic & Web Design for their fellow students, faculty and staff, while family, friends and residents of the community are also encouraged to visit the galleries.  The public is cordially invited to attend the exhibitions and the artist reception free of charge. 

Works will be on view Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
