Veterans Day Ceremony Held at Prairie State College


Veterans Day Ceremony keynote speakerCHICAGO HEIGHTS–(ENEWSPF)–November 19, 2015.  Richton Park Village President Richard Reinbold (left) was the keynote speaker for the Prairie State College (PSC) Veterans Day Ceremony recently held on campus. He is welcomed to PSC by the PSC Student Veterans Center Coordinator Georges Sanon (right), who organized the event. During his address, Reinbold discussed several of the things legislators from Illinois have been doing and continue to do to support veterans. He highlighted the efforts on the federal level of Sen. Richard Durbin, who has expanded the VA Family Caregivers Program, and Sen. Robin Kelly, whose office created the Veterans Resource Guide. At the state level, he recognized the efforts of Illinois Sen. Michael Hastings, a combat veteran, and Rep. Al Riley, who attended the ceremony at PSC.
