The Pittsburgh Channel and many other media outlets sent a news alerts indicating that Senator Edward Kennedy was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital after falling ill at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport. Kennedy, 76, spent two hours in the emergency room before being transported via MedFlight helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
CNN reported Kennedy had symptoms consistent with a stroke.
