Will County, IL—(ENEWSPF)— The Forest Preserve District’s 2026 budget is balanced. Its property tax rate will decrease by 6.78% next year.
Forest Preserve Commissioners unanimously approved the budget on Nov. 13.
“We’ve made great progress this year in expanding opportunities for conservation, recreation, and education,” said Tracy Chapman, the Forest Preserve’s executive director.
