Twenty-fourth Annual House Tour and 2007 Home Show

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— The League of Women Voters of the Park Forest Area and the Village of Park Forest will host: "Live, Grow, and Discover — A Weekend of Ideas," featuring the 24th Annual Park Forest House Tour and the 2007 Home Show.

On Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 10 am to 4 pm, the Home Show will feature exhibits, seminars and product demonstrations on everything home related to inspire progressive living ideas. In addition, food vendors will be on hand with treats and entertainment will be provided for the kids. The whole family will enjoy this free event to be held in the former Marshall Field’s building in DownTown Park Forest.

Five distinguished Park Forest homes will be on display, Sunday, October 7 from noon to 5 pm for the 24th Annual House Tour. The homes, ranging from a modernized co-op to a 3,900 square foot custom-built residence, once again demonstrate the variety of residential options available in Park Forest. The Village’s house museum will also be included in the tour to share with visitors, our pride and passion for our community.

Advance tickets for the House Tour are $10.00 and can be obtained from any League member, from Village Hall (350 Victory Drive), or at the Park Forest Home Show on Saturday, October 6th. Tickets will also be on sale at Village Hall the day of the tour from noon to 3 pm at $15.00 each. Advance ticket holders should go to Village Hall to pick up a map and the brochure describing each home.
