CHICAGO —(ENEWSPF)—April 13, 2015. Federal officials confirmed today that they are conducting a criminal investigation into the death of Laquan McDonald, 17, who died on Oct. 20, 2014, during an encounter with Chicago Police. McDonald, who was armed with a knife, was near West 41st Street and South Pulaski Road on the city’s southwest side, when he was shot and killed during an encounter with police.
