THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHICAGO HAS CANCELLED THE WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY. A WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
12 PM CST FRIDAY.
THE COMBINATION OF BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES AND NORTHWEST WINDS
10 TO 15 MPH WILL RESULT IN WIND CHILLS DROPPING TO 20 TO 40 BELOW
TONIGHT THROUGH MIDDAY FRIDAY.
A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND
STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS
WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF
PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
