Settlement Resolves Claims of Deceptive Enrollment in Discount Clubs and Memberships
Chicago–(ENEWSPF)–October 10, 2013. Attorney General Lisa Madigan today joined with 47 other attorneys general to announce a $30 million settlement with a Connecticut-based marketing firm, Affinion Group, over allegations it deceived consumers into signing up for discount clubs and memberships they never wanted or in many cases even knew about.
