East St. Louis Man Sentenced For Bank Robbery

Springfield, IL-(ENEWSPF)- An East St. Louis man, Deondre Jones, 45, convicted of bank robbery, was sentenced to 56 months in federal prison on June 7, 2016, the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, James L. Porter, announced today. Following release from imprisonment, Jones will serve three years of supervised release. Jones was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment, and was ordered to pay $510.63 in restitution to Scott Credit Union. Jones pled guilty to the charge on February 11, 2016. Jones has been in custody since his arrest on October 1, 2015.
