FBI: Lebanon Man Pleads Guilty to Unlawful Possession of Explosives

Springfield, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois Stephen R. Wigginton announced August 20 that Thomas Lee Stanton, 18, of Lebanon, Illinois, pled guilty in the United States District Court in East St. Louis to the charge of unlawfully possessing destructive devices. Stanton is scheduled to be sentenced on December 13, 2013. At that time, he faces maximum penalties of up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.
