Sanborn Map Co. Pays $2.1 Million to Resolve Allegations of False Claims for Map Work Related to U. S. Military Convoy Routes in Iraq and Marine Corps Bases in U.S.

Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—February 10, 2014. Sanborn Map Company Inc. has agreed to pay $2.1 million to the U.S. government to resolve allegations that it submitted false claims in connection with U. S. Army Corps of Engineers contracts, the Justice Department announced on Friday.  Sanborn, headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo., provides photogrammetric mapping and geographic information system services.
