Motion to Stay Court’s Mandate Seeks Additional 30 Days to Allow Gubernatorial Review of Newly Passed Legislation
Chicago–(ENEWSPF)–June 4, 2013. Attorney General Lisa Madigan today filed a motion with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, seeking a 30-day stay of its mandate to enact a new law governing the carrying of handguns in public.
