Washington, D.C.-(ENEWSPF)- On May 8, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, and Equality North Carolina, released the following statement on North Carolina after Gov. Pat McCrory said on Fox News Sunday that he requested more time from the Department of Justice to comply with a letter issued by the Department of Justice that HB2 puts Governor McCrory in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
