Affordable Loan Program Has Helped 1,600 Veterans Purchase a Home
CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–September 12, 2014. Governor Pat Quinn today announced more than 1,600 veterans, active military personnel, reservists and Illinois National Guard members have accessed more than $200 million through his Welcome Home Heroes homeownership program. The down payment assistance and affordable fixed-rate mortgages under the program are funded with a $20 million investment from Governor Quinn’s Illinois Jobs Now! construction program.
