Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–November 26, 2013. The month of November marks not only the Thanksgiving holiday but also Native American Heritage Month. While it marks a time to celebrate the important role that American Indians and Alaska Natives have played in our nation’s history, it also provides a unique opportunity to evaluate whether the federal government is fulfilling its obligation to provide these populations basic services that promote good health, quality education, and economic growth.
