Audubon Society: Victory! Tar Sands Pipeline on Hold

 

Washington, D.C.–(ENEWSPF)–November 14, 2011. In a win for the environment and the battle to control global warming, the Obama Administration decided to delay a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline. The State Department confirmed that a decision on the proposed Keystone XL pipeline will be postponed so that it can “undertake an in-depth assessment of potential alternative routes in Nebraska.”
