Hillary Clinton’s Small Business Plan Drives Coverage in Battleground States

NEW YORK–(ENEWSPF)–August 26, 2016.  As Donald Trump spent the week reeling from his latest staff shakeup and attempting to answer for a campaign trafficking in hatred and bigotry, Hillary Clinton released a plan detailing policy solutions to make life easier for small business at every step of the way.

Since the start of her campaign, Hillary has visited nearly 100 small businesses across the country, meeting with small business owners to better understand the barriers that are holding them back – and how we can make life easier for them. Those meetings continued this week, with nearly 500 small business owners from across the nation joining Clinton for a tele-townhall on Tuesday to discuss her policy solutions. Tim Kaine hosted a roundtable with local small business leaders in Lakewood, CO. And in Tallahassee, FL today he is meeting with entrepreneurs at a high-tech startup incubator, Domi Station.

Throughout the week, small business events organized by HFA also took place in Virginia, Ohio, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Maine, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, Nevada and Texas. Latino small business owners across the country also held events as part of HFA’s “Nuestros Negocios, Nuestra América”, which aims to help register voters in their communities and educate, engage, and activate Latino voters.
