Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–April 4, 21016. Late last week NARAL Pro-Choice America released a video ad campaign (see it here) comparing Donald Trump’s recent comments and actions to pigs. The video called out Donald Trump’s outrageous behavior, including him saying women should be punished for having an abortion, and his defense of his campaign manager after his arrest for assaulting a woman.
Almost immediately following the release of the online video ad campaign NARAL received backlash saying the video was unfair and offensive… to pigs.
So today, NARAL is apologizing to pigs everywhere and releasing a new video: http://nar.al/sheepish.
“Like I said last week, Donald Trump’s recent comments and actions are not only outrageous, disgusting and piggish they should completely disqualify him from ever serving as our nation’s President,” said Joel Foster, Political Director for NARAL Pro-Choice America. “We stand by that 100%. But we do want to admit we were wrong and apologize to pigs everywhere for comparing them to Trump. It was totally unfair to pigs and we’re sorry. But, let’s be clear about this: Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to women in this nation and his sexist, misogynistic and piggish views are an affront to everything our nation stands for.”
