Rep Schakowsky Statement on Planned Parenthood Investigation

WASHINGTON D.C.–(ENEWSPF)–September 29, 2011.  This week, Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) released the following statement in response to a letter written by Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL), Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, that called for an extensive, burdensome investigation of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and 83 of its affiliates despite regular state and federal audits that have shown no evidence of misuse of funds.
