CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–October 16, 2012. Will Mitt Romney continue to hide the truth about his tax plan in tonight’s debate? Over the last two weeks, Romney’s been denying the very existence of the $5 trillion in tax cuts skewed toward millionaires and billionaires that he’s been running on for months. That’s because he doesn’t want to tell voters what independent analysis confirms – Romney would have to raise middle class taxes to pay for his $250,000 tax cuts for multi-millionaires. President Clinton explained the arithmetic in a new OFA video out today.
But the truth is starting to catch up with Romney. Independent fact checkers, economists, and news organizations are making clear that Romney’s tax math just doesn’t add up and that the “studies” he cites to claim it does are a sham.
