7.0 Magnitude Earthquake Reported North of Tokyo

Tokyo—(ENEWSPF)—April 11, 2011. Another earthquake rattled eastern Honshu today, exactly one month after the 9.0 earthquake hit on March 11. Japanese officials said the quake was a 7.0 magnitude, but the U.S. Geological Survey said it measured magnitude 6.6. The epicenter was about 100 miles (160 kilometers) north of Tokyo.[Read More…]
