He finds realism to be his favorite subject matter and his greatest challenge. His favorite subjects are nature, still life, portraits, animals and the human body. He enjoys painting everyday subjects that most people pass regularly and take for granted, there by introducing them the beauty that surrounds them and is ignored. He considers art to be a form of visual sharing and hopes you enjoy his offering.

Since 2000 Rick has been making digital art and collages as well as short films which can be seen on his channel on YouTube. He has also designed t-shirts and other items with his art on them. Rick recently published several books – “Chronicles Of Rick,” “Rick on Facebook” and “The Art of Rick Young” available on Amazon.com. This show is a cross-section of his art displaying a variety of styles and media Rick has worked in over the past 45 or so years.
