St. Louis, MO –(ENEWSPF)–March 4, 2016. Maytag Blue Cheese has been voluntarily recalled from 17 Schnuck Markets locations due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The potential for contamination was discovered after testing by the State of Iowa at Maytag Dairy Farms, Inc., Newton Iowa, revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall to date.
