Silver Spring, Maryland–(ENEWSPF)–July 1, 2013. Talenti® Gelato & Sorbetto is voluntarily initiating a product recall of Talenti Gelato Toasted Almond Gelato with the UPC # 1 86852 00039 6 with a BEST BY DATE of 11/15/2014 M1 as a precautionary measure. The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product containing pecans was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of pecans. An investigation is ongoing.
