Clinton Foundation Haiti Fund Fact Sheet, June 4, 2010


NEW YORK–(ENEWSPF)–June 4, 2010.  The Clinton Foundation Haiti Fund was created in January 2010. To date, the Fund has raised more than $14 million from more than 100,000 individuals for earthquake relief, recovery, and reconstruction assistance. Since the earthquake, the Foundation has spent $7 million and allocated $2 million for relief efforts, including disbursing funds to twelve 501(c)(3) organizations that are working on the ground in Haiti, as well as supporting the shipment and delivery to Haiti of emergency, relief, education, and agricultural supplies worth over $16 million, some of which were donated from businesses or other organizations. In total, the Foundation has facilitated $25 million in relief efforts for Haiti.
