NEW YORK–(ENEWSPF)–3 May 2010 – Haiti announced today that it was partially resuming international mail services for the first time since the January earthquake ravaged much of the country’s national institutions, including the post office, with support from the United Nations postal union.
The Universal Postal Union (UPU), one of the UN’s specialized agencies, said it had informed the United States and France that they can now release mail destined for Haiti.
